At Fig Tree and Vine, we are dedicated to empowering the internally displaced Acholi refugees in Uganda by providing compassionate support and fostering sustainable development. Inspired by the vision of a peaceful community where everyone can thrive under their own vine and fig tree (Micah 4:4), we strive to create a self-sustaining village for the Acholi people. Through comprehensive initiatives in land acquisition, education, emotional and spiritual support, housing, and community development, we aim to address immediate needs and cultivate long-term resilience. Our mission is to restore hope, promote cultural heritage, and ensure that displaced individuals and families can rebuild their lives with dignity and contribute positively to their community.
